Blue wasn't the word for it Jan - I am thinking of putting together a little (humerous) presentation/sketch at the Frugal Friends Xmas party - about some of the things we get asked to consider by way of creditor modification.

On the whole we have a great relationship with most of the main players - but just occasionally we think they have lost their minds!

That sounds good Mel, look forward to seeing it. Pity the creditors who have contributed to it couldn't be there to see it as well!

Are you bringing your photo albums?

I shall take mine!

Sue and Gareth have done a great job and negotiated down to a three month extension from the twelve months that my creditors wanted originally. The pig-headed side of me is still irritated by the attitude of my creditors, but the realistic side (aided by Susan's rational approach!) sees that they've moved further than I have and it's not a huge concession in the whole scheme of things.

Hence, it looks like it'll be signed and sealed on Tuesday!

Bumpkin I think that is a good result for you and one that just goes to prove how hard the team are working for you to get this result in your favour. I hope everything now goes smoothly for you
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

That will be a great result tomorrow then when it's approved. So glad that Sue has managed to negotiate with your creditors and won the sensible option.

I think you called the creditors bluff[rightly so]...and they relented.Imaging if you said OK to the 12 months extension.

The ground is shifting and debtors are getting more slack than two years ago when these banks act like 'untounchable'.People would be afraid to push for concessions. Great!

How the mighty how fallen.I heard RBS will be 84%!!!!!!!!! public owned very soon as they have £324 billion of potential write offs?? Just Ridiculous?

This was a very good result all round, and I personally witnessed the hard work put in by my team on your behalf. Not the easiest case - but we got there in the end!

Yes, I'm sure Gareth and Susan pulled out all the stops! I signed everything off from my end today, so it's now all done and dusted.

How long will it take for my details to appear on the insolvency register?

Thanks Melanie. I think you work too hard - responding to questions at this time is so far from going above and beyond the call of duty......!
