Well you haven't got rid of me just yet!

Went in last night, got all ready this morning, then discovered that I should have stopped taking a couple of my tablets a couple of days ago and no one told me. So the anaesthetist wouldn't risk it.

I have a new date now of the 24th (aren't I lucky?) so that's my Christmas sorted!

Just hope you don't let it spoil your Christmas Jan, it is very annoying for you and I can understand as I was in a similar situation a couple of years back when I was in Hosp due to supposedly being nil by mouth and they fed me before an op!!.but at least when you go in next,it should all be plain sailing, just a pain to have happened so close to Christmas[:(].Make sure you have something nice to eat today though!!.sending you a hug..xx

Oh dear Jan so sorry to see this. I was hoping it would all be over for you now. Its terrible to get all ready for it and then to be cancelled.
Still enjoy your food for today and hopefully all will go smoothly for your admission on the 24th.Look forward to a great new year.

Oh my goodness, just got back from shopping, thought I was going mad seeing Jan posting today. I say I went shopping it was more like being shoved around, blimey, whats going on in the world, why is everyone so full of goodwill to men,,,NOT. This driver, stopped his car, right in the middle of the car park, so he could grab a space, someone was trying to vacate, never mind noone could flippin move anywhere, the idiot... I digress.

Jan I am so sorry, this sucks, I wouldnt think there is enough *******'s in the cyber space to really say what you must be feeling, christmas eve? Thats even more frustrating, poor you, I am so sorry hun.

Take care, all that *********** rushing about, I think I would have punched someones lights out for not telling about the ******* tablets I shouldnt have been taking. You know with it being the season of peace and goodwill to man and all that.

Get one of those vokda and cokes down your neck tonight, you sure deserve it.

Lots of love

Thanks Jan

Got my whoom back somehow today, still full of that stuff, face ache, chesty, snotty, viley yuk. But I got up and stripped beds, got my car back and went shopping, it was so busy too, I couldnt believe it.. I had a packet of opal fruits in the que as I felt a bit yuk and thats something I can taste.. I paid for the packet when I got to the till though. I guess I must be getting better, certainly feeling better.

I so hope youre OK hun, it must be so frustrating and bitchy, ooh I dont know how youre staying so calm, I would like to punch someones lights out for you from here.. well its the season of goodwill, right?
