My 9 month old is having a party in her cot...she just won't go down for her afternoon nap. Argh!

She didn't even go to sleep last night until 9.30pm and was up at 6am.

I know she is teething, but this is ridiculous - I have a toddler to run after as well and I need a bit of peace and quiet.

Any tips from parents out there as to how to get an overtired baby to sleep?????

Ahhhh..the soothing new age plinkety plonkety music seems to have done the trick, all is quiet over the baby monitor now. Phew!

Glad she has settled angelrainbow.

There's nothing worse than babies who won't sleep!

My 'baby' is grown up now (20), but I was very lucky, she slept through the night from 3 months.

my eldest teethed without any fuss or bother at all, but little bab does suffer, bless her. Her gums are so swollen and red.
She has been a light sleeper from birth..ahh that's her over the monitor now..back later!
