Back ....and relaxed....sunburnt and Happy

Had a lovey two weeks in Lanzarote....landed about two hours ago and been home an hour ...can't sleep....say by then pool today reading ...didn't realise my legs of burnt as much as they did ...the heat coming from them is immense !

No cross word between any of us ( we went with my sister and her family )..... Now tomorrow the washing , the garden and the food shop....

Have to say one thing...this was the first holiday abroad for us in five years...since h IVA started.... It was the best .....why....because we paid for it ourselves and came back with spending money and didn't once use our bank cards ! Now on the search for next year !!!!

I can't sleep either, my 8th grandchild on her way!

I had been really careful up until yesterday and simply forgot how long I had been in the same position ...engrossed in my book !

Glad you had a great time away, put some aloe on your sunburn if you don't have any you can always make a paste from bicarbonate of soda and spread it on the worst bits!!

As it happens aloe vera moisteriser gel came home with me from the farm - we were able to go and see how it was produced in Lanzarote -
Really struggling to stay awake now - and it's blooming cold !

I agree it's cold, I've done a car boot this morning, made £59 so a bit of a bonus and all towards the daughter's uni fund...

Saw them on fb Lulu - looked good. I have some family living in Lanzarote and we used to visit them but not since 2009 for obvious reasons. We used to stay in Playa Blanca at the Las Brisas complex. Were you in Teguise (can't spell it, but know where I mean)?

We were in Costa Teguise ...right on the beach front...beautiful scenery and lovely hotel apart from the buffet .... Less said about that..other than not good !
