Hi there,

I need some help and advise.
Recently I have been awarded a new benefit IIDB (Industrial injuries Disability Benefit) and have been told I will be getting a back payment from last August which will be nearly £3000!

I have been with my IVA for nearly 4 years now and will end in February 2022 in which I calculate as £2100 left to pay in £100 instalments.

I was wondering can I pay off the remainder £2100 out of my back payment and finish my IVA?

My wedding is also coming up this April, and any money left will help with paying for that.

Please help as I dont know how this will work.

Youneed to discuss this with your IP as it will all depend on how they intend to treat it. I suspect that it will be payable into the IVA in total, in addition to ongoing agreed monthly payments.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
