my wife used to work for social services and is due backpay once all the calculations etc have been worked out.she no longer works with them but is still entitled to it
would this be classed as a windfall or not as it is an expected payment and not something out of the blue.i am certain that
when we entered the iva process this was disclosed to our ip who said only 50% would be required to go into the iva.unfortunately this was not confirmed in writing
your comments and views would be greatly appreciated

Hi Billy

Assuming that your wife is in an IVA, the terms of her arrangement will dictate the treatment of this sum. Get her to call her own IP for specific advice from someone who knows the exact details of her case.

Hi Billy,

The best way forward would be for your wife to call her I.P as they would be the best people to speak with as they know the terms and conditions of your wifes proposal.
