At times like this the waiting is the worst. I sincerely hope good news comes your way.

I am too enjoying the Olympics and wasn't really fussed about any of it before it's just drawn me in. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Had a chat with my case worker this morning and put her in the picture with regard to the possibility of either redundancy or lower grade job. She was very nice but couldn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I suppose its just a waiting game now. I was reminded about the clause in my proposal regarding redundancy being classed as a windfall and that 6 months salary could be retained whilst seeking fresh employment etc. Not much consolation as a new employer would not take on my husband whilst in an IVA (Senior Management in Financial Services) but having said that she did also say that we could also look at a F&F which of course would be the favourite route because at the very least, if we had a completion certificate someone may look at employing him especially as he has such a good track record. Time will tell x

Finally sorted our situation!!! Redundancy was turned down as it just wasn't viable but thankfully another job was offered and accepted albeit a step down. On the plus side - we will be able to continue at the same payment rate, I think, and the bonus will be paid monthly instead of quarterly which will help. Feeling a sense of huge relief at the moment but it has been a long drag and certainly taken its toll on Hubby. Onwards and upwards now until the next obstacle but as I've said before, there a loads of people a heck of a lot worse off than us and for that I am thankful x

That sounds like a good result - give your hubby lots of cuddles, it is suprising how often the male species can bounce back after a bit of TLC!!!
