I wonder if that is normal that they let you know ahead of time?
My people did make it out as if it's generally just a matter of paperwork and the Creditors' Meeting date/time is protocol only. I actually spoke to them 10 days before my meeting about a small thing and I was cryptically told "we haven't had a No so far" ie. someone had voted already! But as I had 3 creditors and two of them accounted for 86% of the debt, so it didn't put my mind at rest any....

Anyhow, Vignal.....congratulations!!! I'm really pleased for you xx
Final payment 1st April 2016.
Completion Certificate received 19th May 2016.

That is a brave IP - or perhaps a reckless one - who shares voting positions with their client in advance of the meeting, and gives the impression that the creditors meeting is a non-event. I have experienced all sorts of suprises at creditors meetings, from creditors turning up unexpectedly, to them changing their votes right at the last minute, creating great disappointment for all parties concerned. My policy is say nothing until the meeting is over and the votes cast.

Thanks again everyone. Just to confirm all of the i's were dotted and t's crossed at the Creditors Meeting so my IVA has now been officially approved and accepted. Can't say how happy I am. I now feel like I have my life back on track and can only go up from here. Obviously the next 5 years aren't going to be easy but I have definitely learned from this experience.
