feel sick
just read a post on debt collection, we have changed our bank and all direct debits and every thing so i thought has gone smoothly. changed to alliance and leicter, just read though they are part of mbna and we owe money to virgin cc. Have i made a massive mistake HELP

No - although they are owned by the same company, there is unlikley to be any link between your current account and your debt to Virgin.

Basically what it is is that Alliance & Leicester don't do their own credit cards so they like many others effectively offer this facility via MBNA.
It should not impact on you.
