Hi, does anyone know if Bank of Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland are the same company? Thanks[:)]

No they are completely different companies - this first is part of the HBos group, and the second is a bank in its own right.

Yes Halifax and Bank of Scotland make up HBOS, which is an entirely seperate company from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
