I have a reasonably ( I think} understanding Bank Manager.

After IVA I went to Bank Manager and said my IVA has been accepted and can that over draft be removed, charges and interest.

He asked for some sort of documents to prove that IVA has gone through.

I assume it is the Chairman's report.

Or is there some other document to show IVA has gone through.

Thinking that it is the Cahirman's report,I have asked for it and am still waiting for it.

My bank Manager may let me keep the account and may be able to use cheque book.

Can some one tell what sort of Official Document do I need from IP?

Hi
Yes,the chairmans report of the creditors meeting should be enough info for him. However as the bank was a creditor in the IVA then they should know already

Thanks for info MR davie,Though the over draft is in the loacal Bank,My Ip sent the proposal and other things to their relevant department which deal with insolvencies.

I do not think it has filtered through yet.

I did ask the manager to contact the department and offered to give the adress of the dept. that the doucments went to,He was not interested,I presume the reason for lack of enthusiasm being that he did not see many Bank of ENGLAND freely flowing way.

My bank were not one of my creditors and I was allowed to keep my account along with my debit card and cheque book. I phoned customer services and asked them to remove my overdraft and didn't tell them the reason.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

I had an overdraft with my bank which was included in my IVA. In error, my salary was paid into the account, thereby paying my overdraft. I received a letter from the bank confirming this, yet they are still making a claim through the IVA. After contacting the bank informing them of this and asking very nicely to please refund the money to me, they are now telling me they have no record of them having any claim in the IVA. The gentleman (and I mean GENTLEMAN)I spoke to was extremely pleasant - suggested I contact my IP and find out from them who made the claim. Unfortunately, everytime you call your IP or they write or call you, they charge you.

I guess departments just don't talk to one another!!!!

Hi Andy

Yes it was and yes I agree that I have a right to get it back. I have been paying my company back on a monthly basis as they paid me twice as I had received another letter prior to the IVA being accepted that they had closed the account. I had informed my company, but they paid it into the account in error. Being that the account was closed, we were under the impression that it would just bounce back. Which it obviously didn't.

Not getting anywhere fast, but I am not going to let this go!!! Its the terrier in me!!!! or should I say, Shepherd -- Woof Woof!!!
