Bankrupt and scared

Can i ask if my IVA doesnt go through and im made bankrupt does it come hand in hand with losing my job and what is the point of that???[V]

Being made bankrupt does not necessarily mean losing your job.

It all depends what your job is.

What line of work are you in and what is your position?

Hi Cybus and thanks, working for the NHS it doesnt involve working with money does that make any difference? and im a pharmacy tech

I would not envisage you having any employment issues there.

If you were to be handling monies on a day to day basis then that would be different, but in pharmacy, you should be okay.

Hi Vic74.Hopefully your IVA will be ok.When does the meeting take place? Al this worry about our jobs and what we can and can't do in IVA/Bankrupcy.Even if we did work with money day in day out, it doesn't necessarily make us thieves does it? I would never dream of stealing and my iVva doesn't make me any less trustworthy and I'm sure you feel the same.You are already in a position of trust. Wonder what you deal with on a day to day basis and what the street value of even a benzodiazapine would be? Keep your chin up.Cat

[:D]Thanks cat yes very true all points, thankfully im no longer in the positon of being near any kind of prescribable drugs so they cant use that against me if necessary(job works differently but same title)(which may i add would never cross my mind i like my job too much)! my proposals go out tomorrow and should be received by Friday as yet i havent got a set date part of me wishes it would hurry up so i know the end but then part of me doesnt and thats the scary part! glass half empty!...
