Well done! What a relief for both of you!
It is encouraging to read that BR is not as horrendous as people might think, especially for those of us waiting for a decision regarding an IVA proposal, which may or may not succeed.
Happy days!

I am currently in an IVA and thinking of going down the BR route. I have had a few added expenses lately in that my son has to go to an after school club and that costs £160 a month, plus Tax credits have cut down my monthly payments for childcare, at an extra £200 for me, hence this month I have been unable to meet my monthly payment of £300. BR is obviously my last choice, if my IP agrees not to make me BR then I will consider debt management with the Consumer Credit Counselling Service as then I can vary my payments. I can roughly afford £150 a month now because of these new expenses. I do wish IVA's could be more flexible. Any advice would be appreciated

Thank you
