Hello all
Bankruptcy date is through
Thursday 21 June 10.30am

They did suggest 19th June, however as my wedding anniversary have decided not to have that day.

I am absolutely petrified!

Hi Zoe, please don't be scared. I know it's easy for me to say, but it really isn't as bad as you think that it'll be. When I went to court I was treated with courtesy and dignity all the time. Believe me, it'll be such a weight off your shoulders. You have tried your best with the IVA, so you can hold your head high and be proud of yourself.

Good luck x

Hi Zoe,

Best of luck with this, it should be all done quickly and without too much trouble from all accounts, so try not to be worried. Im sure when the day comes and all is done, you'll feel a great sense of relief and you'll know that all being well, you'll be discharged and free to start again in just 12 months time. :-)

Hi Zoe, as you know a number of us have gone BR and trust me it is not as bad as what you may think everyone is really nice even the judge, it was a bit nerve racking but it was over so quickly. Remember you have done your best to repay the debt and now by the end of june it will be over and you can finally move forward. If you have no assests ie house etc then it should be straight forward. I do not pay any monthly payments but am about to loose the house soon then i can finally say it is over. I have never once regretted my discision (albiet it would have happened anyway) going BR i am so much happier without worry about the IVA payments etc.

Good Luck and keep up posted
