Hi

I was approved bankruptcy on 9 July and I just had a question. When I had my OR telephone interview, we discussed all my bank accounts and credit cards but he never asked for my new Nationwide account number. Now that my creditors report has been sent out, would my OR need to access my new account for any reason, or are they able to?

The reason I ask is that my partner wants to move in with me and help me out by setting up a standing order to go into my bank account each month to help with bills and rent. However I dont want to agree to this is if my OR is going to find out and they I just have to hand over the cash to them. I would rather just put my partner off until my discharge and carry on as I am until then.

What do you think, is the OR likely to find out?

Thanks

C

Hi Claire,

I think the best way forward is to contact your OR and explain your situation and get their advice. Its always best to be upfront and honest, that way you wont need to hide anything and wonder if the OR will find out or not.
