Don't worry Melanie, I'm not panicking, but I have a question! I have read Kerri's post on the BR webiste, and the CAB say that as a guideline a grocery allowance is £35 per week per adult. My bills are higher than that, as I have to limit dairy products dor health reasons and this makes things more expensive! For example 4 pints of cows milk are just over £1, but 1 litre of soya milk is £1.27 so it's getting towards double the price!
My question is, will the OR accept that, as I have no medical proof (the doctor just gave me tablets which I was unhappy about taking), or will they think I am being unreasonable? At the moment I have put £330 on my SOA for groceries 2 people, but I am worried they will think this is a bit high, but I don't want to end up in the same situation as I was in the IVA!
Onwards and upwards!!!
