Hi All!

Its been a long time since I have been on here as I had lots to sort out.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the input you all gave me.

I have been in constant contact with my IP for months as I was made redundant but fortunately found another job pretty quick, although it is lower paid.

As I am now on a much lower wage, my IP advised me that bankruptcy was my best option and guided me through it. Now just waiting for the court date!

3 years in an IVA and now bankruptcy.....crikey!

Hi Shanks and nice to see you.

So sorry that it has had to come to bankruptcy, but at least you are positive about it and you can draw a line under everything and start again.

Good luck with BR and don't forget to let us know how you get on.

To be really honest, sometimes I feel like going bankrupt as I dont have anything to lose, dont have a job where i need to protect myself & doubt in the future I will. Haven't got a house and it seems it would be better in the end as we would have more money to live on even though I still might pay money out over 3 years but not as much as now. But at the moment I wont because I think We can struggle a bit longer, pride wont let me and I spent the debt so I neeed to pay some back. Just wish it was all so easy, but which ever way you choose its sooooo hard. I dont feel relief for being in an iva as I still worry about money. AAghhh!!

but is a damn sight easier than worrying how to pay creditors. I am really happy with an IVA but I would use BR if I felt that is was the best way to survive.
