bankruptcy with unsecured debts less than 20,000

i think I read somewhere that filing for bankruptcy can be a problem if your debts are nusecured and less than 20 000 is this right?

No - it is just a different type of bankruptcy - called a Summary Administration. Only a technicality really, and nothing to worry about.
