His sgg1 and welcome to the forum

I think that the Co-op will give a bank account to an undischarged bankrupt, and there is also Think Banking - which is expensive and I would only recommend as a last resort.

This is not my particular area of expertise, so hopefully someone will be along shortly with more definitive advice.

Hi, I've got an account with co-operative bank and although we are not officially bankrupt yet-filing tomorrow-we explained to the girl in the bank about our situation and she didn't say it would be a problem and going off the info on the forum they don't seem to have a major problem with bankruptcees. You should go into a branch as you can only do it that way, don't apply online and you need to ask about the cashminder account. It's a basic account with a Visa Electron card, direct debit and no overdraft facility. Just to mention, don't worry if it gets referred, so did our application and they accepted the day after. Good luck.
It's nice to be back......

As far as I'm aware the only banks who will currently offer accounts to undischarged bankrupts are the Co-op and Barclays.
