Recieved statements still happily charging interest and default charges and letters off Barclaycard informing me of the engagement of Mercers to chase me down, and a letter and default notice off Cap One informing me of my breach of agreement as they`ve recieved notice that I intend to propose an IVA...They both voted in favour of my proposal on august 10th[:)]

Hi
It's a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing !!
You are protected by your IVA and interest and charges will be null and void after the acceptance of your IVA

They won't be getting the interest or charges!

Ignore the lot of them - the computer systems must be out of the ark and not told each other yet!

Thanks Andy and Kallis,
I know I`m protected by my IVA and I`m not concerned, I just think it`s farcical that organisations the size of these two have the communication capabilities of the stone age, I`m not even going to send these latest worthless bits of paper to my case admin.

Just shred them - they're worthless!

I can accept a few days before records are updated, but anything after that is a farce!

It's absolutely apalling to have to read that this nonsense is still ongoing. I shall be having a word with Grant Thornton tomorrow who represent both of those creditors.

We are still being called by Mercers every 2 weeks. They claim they know nothing about our IVA. I am still getting statements from Barclaycard too. I have to say they are the only ones though. It is getting frustrating now as our IVA was agreed in June and Barclaycard voted in favour! Mercers (on behalf of Barcaycard) are relentless!

Speak to your IP - this should not be happening now. Get them to sort it out for you.

I would be less than polite on the phone now!

My hubby had to scream and get angry with Mercers when they kept ringing, they didn't ring again, he's normally calm but they sent him over the edge. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I sent all mine to my case admin who contacted creditors on my behalf and I believe the firm compiles a list of offenders to let the relevant authorities know. It is a farce. Lesley - I like the sound of your husband. My mum always says to never underestimate the quiet ones!

Mercers phoned on the date of acceptance and then never again.

I'm afraid that I would just let rip at them now - nobody can ever accuse me of being quiet!

Has Basil Fawlty gone into banking? I'd send the cards and a friendly letter to the CEO. I do mean friendly here...he will be mortified to know this is going on and may actually get the various departments talking.
