Just wondered if anyone else has had the same thing happen?
Barclaycard are no longer showing on my credit record with Equifax (have not checked the other 2)
They are one of my creditors and the only one that hounded me 20 times a day for £700 debt I have with them!!
What does this mean? Will they still be receive a divident?

Hi liz.
Sorry, not sure what this might mean but it might be worth checking the other 2 as something might well show up on one of those.

This is funny as I checked mine too and I noticed a few have dropped off mine, only 3 are now showing as owing money...
Would be interesting to hear answers to this, I wonder do they write it off?

Lizwalker- you may find the debt has been sold on - so it may now or in the future appears elsewhere(other another name). No real point worrying about this at the moment, as you cant do anything with the credit reports till later - may as well save the £2 X3 and treat yourself to a bottle of wine.

Thanks for your responses!!
Suffering really badly at the moment! Boyfriend who does NOT have an IVA was made redundant in Feb and still no luck with finding another position! He is a graphic designer without web design! Years ago when he was at uni you either did Web design OR Graphic design (not both) all positions now want you to have both! (2 jobs for the price of 1) It has got so bad that he now having to look all across the UK and we may have to move!! Not worth me taking a payment break to help as I only pay £185 a month until my car has been paid for which is another year!
Oh well. Half way through as of Yesterday!! wahoo!! 2.5 years to go!!

Ooh yes. It is roasting here too. Beautiful. Trouble is my kids suffer with very bad hayfever and can't stay outside too long before their eyes swell and they're sneezing and having nose bleeds all over the place!

He is registered with Job Seekers but because he has been sensible (unlike me) and saves his money he has been living off of that since his redundancy. Not mega amounts but enough to cover his mortgage, bills etc. because of this he is entitled to no help whatsoever. We will have to wait until he has been unemployed for 6 months then he can apply but because he has cash they dont want to know!!! Amazing it really is! He is not rich at all... simply not going out etc. He is self teaching at home on the computer. I am using £30 a month out of my contingency to pay for the internet for him so he can do this! We are probably able to stay above water with the bills for another month or so but thats it and also he has been told by JSA that he can only claim this for 9 months as thats all he has paid into on the national insurance!!!!! Which i find ridiculous!! Working for 12 years and thats all and dont get me started on Benefits!!! GGRR rant over! ha ha

I would have thought you could have had an allowance for internet rather than it come out of contingency, there are better deals out there though and £30 a month may be considered excessive.
In terms of barclaycard, or any creditor who may sell on their debts what normally happens is they mark their accounts as settled satisfactorily. Then the new company who take over the debt come along and mark a default. It is odd if a creditor has not reported to the CRA details of your accounts though.
Barclaycard did post on here, maybe they could throw in their input.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Hi,
I have not even started my IVA yet and haven't missed a payment with Barclaycard. However, Barclaycard doesn't show on my credit report at all! I don't know why. I have around £4000 of debt with them but its not showing up....yet all other creditors are, so your not the only one! My credit report is with Experian.
