This is the reason we got in debt. Its your money but dont expect me to pay. I would have thought any spare money after iva would go on decent things that we wont be able to afford like decent clothes, a hol etc. But if you want a new car AGAIN then., your choice.[V]

There is a peer near here - lives in a huge house within hundreds of acres - he drives a Rover 25!! Most people with big fancy cars cannot afford them - if it goes from a to b that is all that is required

You are right David. I am not talking Ferrari but a cheap porsche or similar would be a nice little hobby that I could also use for work I only do about 100 miles a week.

I hope you can service the thing yourself!! Our GP had the "boxer" version - biggest load of junk he ever bought - his words - he now has a Clio - one and only car!

I was thinking cheaper than a boxster maybe a 924 which is a volkswagen engine and running gear so can get things sorted for about same price as a vw.
