That's a bit strong Timeforchange! Do you have any constructive ideas about how to improve things?

I think that there is blame to be pointed at both sides to be frank. People did not need to borrow some of the money that has actually been dished out, and banks perhaps should not have lent as much.

This forum is not the place for insulting comments - even against the country's lending institutions.

As to normal banking, I don't have a problem with Barclays - we never had any trouble with them.

I never had a problem with Lloyds TSB. They were fine with me and let me keep my account even after I went BR.

perhaps my comment about 1 brain cell was a bit ott. I do agree though that excessive explitives are a bit too much for this forum.

There have been a few scurrilous posts on this forum recently, and I do not feel that this is the right place for certain comments.

Ok, Thought it might have been my comment on Gordon Brown. I was no big fan of Tony Blair but at the end of the day the country voted for a government led by him and not Gordon Brown. I do get a bit annoyed that he is in power and not making any move forward for the country.
