Whilst reading topics on here I see alot of people have difficulty getting hold of their IPS, mine is with Accuma, how ever this was set up with Thomas Charles, so after my IVA was set up and I needed to get hold of my IP which after 2 weeks of trying I could not, I rang Thomas Charles and complained to them about accuma and it was causing me alot of stress and for that reason I told Thomas Charles I wanted to go BR, with in an hour my IP got back to me. Also I had a modification request at my IVA creditors meeting which I refused to agree to and told them thAt if they did not accept the IVA I would go BR instead, the resaon I was forcefull with my creditors was because my expenditure took alot of time to work out and was accurate and I wanted the IVA to work and not fail becuase I could not make the payment.

I have learnt 2 things -

1 . If you went bankcrupt you may have to make payments for 3 years but overall your creditors will get less money back, so its in the interest of creditors that you stick with the IVA so be forcefull if you know you are right.

2 - If you go bankcrupt your IP losses their future fees from them so be forcefull.

An IVA is their to work for you, your IP And your creditors
