becoming self employed as a locum nurse

i have had an iva for about 18 months now. i am a veterinary nurse and would like to become self employed as a locum nurse. is it possible to do this with an iva?

Hi Charley

Absolutely no problem with that, so long as your self-employed earnings are at least equivalent to your current salary. Don't forget to register with H M Revenue & Customs, and set aside money each month to ensure that your eventual tax bill can be paid. Also make sure you let your IP know about your change of circumstances.
