Hi there I rang to ask for my completion document as my variation was 3 months ago and have been told that I have paid in far too much and they have to work it out I have been telling them this 26 grand paid on a 14 grand debt how was this allowed to happen if it was being monitored .on a yearly basis I must have been struggling when there was no need is this usual.
On a £15k debt over 5 years you would need to pay around £25k to cover original debt, fees and statutory interest. You appear to have paid around £21k, so I don't see where you have vastly overpaid, unless statutory interest was excluded, which would reduce the figure by around 5 or 6 k.
