I got hold of the wrong end of the stick as well Size5 - I thought how highly unethical that would have been!

I do agree BOT - desperate people take desperate measures. I was always withdrawing cash on the card, then going straight into the bank and paying it back across to the card!

How did they expect you to be able to pay that fee? Surely it should have come from only your disposable income, when you were in a position to pay it, rather than racking up further credit on cards you would have known you would be unable to pay.

I thought we had left this thing behind in this profession in the last decade!

No doubt they would have found a way to spread it into our monthly payments over the next 5 years, once again though, I have to say it was our decision not theirs. I do see your point though Melanie, a bit like someone I know at the moment who can't afford to go bankrupt???
