Hi all hope everyone is well

I am looking for some advice on negotiating with the Trustee regards the BI. I have recieved notification from the trustee of the BI, however the amount the 3rd party can raise is about 2k short of the amount requested.

Does any one have any experience of 'negotiating' on the sum and if successful how did you go about it.

Regards

Pippa

Would be happy to meet you for a coffee and go through that with you if you like! Probably better discussed with the paperwork in front of someone that across the forum, but I would have thought you have the makings of a good deal there.

Can you remind me who the Trustee is?

Hi Melanie

Melanie thank you for your offer to meet for coffee, I really appreciate that. You are a such a star.

The trustee is Grant Thornton in Bristol. I have drafted a letter which I intended to send tomorrow. I have stated the funds would be available in a couple of weeks which I am hoping makes it look more attractive, I assume they too want a speedy closure.

Grant Thornton are a good firm, and are very commercial - I know the IP in Bristol personally - so if you want to e-mail me the letter you know where I am.

Thanks Melanie

I have emailed you a copy of my draft. If you would like a copy of the letter from GT I would be happy to scan and send over.

Many thanks

Pippa
