as far as i was aware if a creditor did not vote it was taken as a yes, or is it pro rata, but congratulations on getting the iva

In reply to voting or not voting James; the only real element that counts is that you get 75% in monetry value to accept. You might only have 2 or 3 creditors and the balance neesd to swing in the "yes" direction.

At one stage I had 74.8% voting yes (monetry value) and had to wait until enough creditors voted in favour, and luckily enough they did with about .5% on my side!! It was a close run thing, but my IP was always confident.

Now I am starting down the long road of watching the pennies!!

Well I have been living to my new budget hoping that my proposal would be accepted.So far I have been ok, first proper payment made, but I have been working to my budget for 3 months and managing thus far ok

That's good. I really don't miss the plastic now. Love to be able to buy things with cash and know they are paid for.
