I would think that Andrew Graveson of Brightoak is a good starting point - but unless you have a 15% to 20% deposit, it will be very difficult to find any lender prepared to accept you as a customer.

Hello pm.e,

Given the depressing news out there about mortgage lending in general you'll understand that there are challenges in finding attractive finance deals for individuals who have been discharged from bankruptcy.

A lot depends on the loan-to-value you'll require, whether a new arrangement is affordable for you in the eyes of you/your broker/your proposed lender , and how long it is since the discharge.

No harm in speaking to a mortgage broker to get an opinion based on your own unique circumstances.

Hi, thanks Melanie for the reply.

Only got discharged yesterday!, my fixed rate with Northern Rock ends in January - nightmare.

No letter or anything off OR, found out on Insolvency Website.

Does anyone have Andrew's email?

Many thanks,
