I thought I would share with everyone how very impressed I am with the customer service I have received from Grant Thornton over the past couple of days

I know they have had a few bad words said over the last couple of months but I think people should be made aware of how good there customer service has been with me.

Asked a question via Email yesterday morning and got a reply this morning and then asked another question and got another reply back later on in the afternoon

Brilliant and keep up the good work.

Thank you again

Richard

Excellent news Richards, glad you got sorted out and great to see some positive feedback for GT.

It's always good to read positive posts and this goes to show that the few we read about are not representative of GT in general.

It's generally quite hard to get meaningful contact with GT at the first attempt, certainly if using normal communication channels and especially if the query requires more consideration than a yes no answer.

The fact someone's happy experience of getting a prompt response to a couple of emails generates a raft of congratulatory responses speaks volumes I'm afraid.

To those of you still awaiting replies - do forward your queries to Karol who is sure to look into them all for you, and direct them to the most appropriate people within GT.

Hi i phoned GT Tuesday afternoon, it took 40 seconds to be answered, i was then put on hold for no more than 2 minutes whilst Suzanne looked at another computer for an update on my completion, she took my number to phone me back with the info, she said they were working flat out to catch up from the two month backlog when they didn't close any cases. I suggested i should recieve my cc by June, she said fingers crossed, she would hope so. I will be very happy if i receive my cc by June, i made my last payment in September.

Regards David.

I'm glad you're happy Olydak, but, 6-7 months after final payment "fingers crossed" and "I would hope so" doesn't seem like a particularly satisfactory response to me, especially when one considers that if it takes until June (fingers crossed!) the process will have taken 9-10 months.

Might be worth trying that

Alderson,

I'm happy with the response from Grant Thornton because i know when the backlog is cleared i will have a completion certificate, there is no point im me fretting about it before then because there isn't anything i can do to speed it up.

Regards David.
