It's definitely worth broaching it with her again Ray. As Jan says you could put all this behind you and enjoy your retirement without having to worry.

If I can help you off the forum please email me and I will try my best xxx

Good to hear it got sorted out, i recall one time i had set up a direct debit as advised to by the council to pay my council tax, i noticed it was not getting taken from my account after 3 months, so I phoned the council, what a foolish thing that was to do, they almost accused me of trying to avoid paying until i pointed out to the oaf on the phone it was me that detected the non payment and wanted rectify the matter.

Two days later i get a letter threatenting me with legal action, I phone them up again and was infomred that an automatic letter and to ignore it, I went to the office paid hte amount missing and set up a new direct debit which I confimred was being taken, but a day after tht I got another letter saying it was my final warning, it took a threat of a formal complaint to th elocal government ombudsmen to get the htreatening letters stopped.

Unfortunately this isn't solving Ray's problems and I think that BR would be a good solution for him.
