Hi, I feel that I am taking one stop forward and two back, and all I want to do is get everthing in place, sort out our debts and get on with our lives. Tried to do a IVA and were told that due to our debt with NR we would not be acepted. Now we going down the DMP route based on our selling the house and using the equity to pay back our debts.Yesterday we went to a couple of estate agents only to be told that our house will end up being sold for about £15,000 to £20,000 less than we thought it would, due to the credit crunch. will speak to the dmp company tomorrow, but the way our luck is going will probley be told that that road is shut as well. I dont know what else we can do. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Chezzy. Was it just advice you received regarding your IVA and debt with NR? The reason I ask is, our biggest creditor is NR and our creditors meeting should be booked for the end of the month. If I were you, I would post a question on this forum for Melanie regarding NR as she is used to dealing with them. By the way, welcome to the forum, keep posting your questions, we are all here to help if we can. Kazzy x

I have just e-mailed Chezzy off line, and hope that she will make contact with me as I do have some knowledge of her case.

It was Melanie who turned us down, mainly because we thought there was enough equity in the house to clear our debts to Nr and the others, now it looks like there wont be.

So an IVA could well be a solution for you again. I would happy to look at this again, and have e-mailed you this afternoon.
