By the way Julie, did your kettle stand the test?

Its to cold to go in the kitchen [:D][:D]

I've got to say glamour has totally gone out of the window in our house...leggings, pj's, sweater, dressing gown and thats just hubby [:D]

The heaters are helping..well they would if dobby didn't try to sit right on top of them!

Bless him Julie! I'd love to meet him. Dobbie and hubby, although I'd prefer to meet the latter properly dressed rather than in leggings![:D][:D]

Arrrrgggghhh!! Still no heating/water! I phoned today to confirm what time engineer was calling and was told 11am....then had a phonecall back to say the part hadn't arrived so have to wait until Monday.

When I complained (again) and asked why the part couldn't be sent using a same day courier service, i was told "the part probably wouldn't arrive in time today and we don't fit parts over the weekend.....weekend calls are for emergencies only". At that point I blew a gasket....if having no form of heating / hot water for 6 days now is not an emergency breakdown then what is!!!!!!!!!

I'm now waiting for a call back to see if they've sourced the part elsewhere.

I was actually in flood of tears this morning, I cannot cope without my hot water. !!

Julie, that is terrible! What a dreadful service and I would most certainly be putting in a strong complaint and asking for compensation.

Stick to your guns Julie and keep pestering them. You should not have to wait 6 days at anytime of year for a part, let alone in the middle of winter.

I'm not surprised you have been in floods of tears!

I've made another 2 calls and still have no definite answer as to when it will be fixed. They offered me more heaters, but couldn't answer me when I asked how do heaters give me hot water???????? Furthermore who's going to pay the electric bill!!!

Luckily for them I'm not in work this week, otherwise ~I would have taken time off to wait for an engineer who had no intention of turning up!!

I'm really going to need a big bar of chocolate to get through today [:(]

Julie treat yourself to your Minstrels and I'm so sorry you're experiencing this, I can remember my woes about 2 yrs ago now and how cold it was, me I've never had hot water since but that's another story, I sincerely hope it's sorted for you very soon.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thanks everyone, just been over daughters for a bath. I know its hard for others to get their head around, but me not being able to have a bath is like a smoker not being able to have a cigarette I guess.

My complaint has gone in and I will make sure I get compensation.

I wouldn't have minded so much if they had told me it would take this long to fix, but they've given me the runaround all week.

I hate bad customer service.

I'd be seriously considering changing the service plan if I were you.

Once this is fixed, I will be changing Jan.

I was supposed to have granddaughter sleeping last night but couldn't and that upset me so much. Not that it takes much these days!

I'm going to get them soon and take them out for a couple of hours. Then I'm going to see my Mum as she totally understands the bath thing..it'll be worth a 90mile round trip to have a bath [:D]

Now that I wouldn't do!

I do hope it's fixed for you on Monday. I'd be ripping someone's head off afterwards!
