They keep my feet nice and warm!

I lied about the dressing gown - they're stars not hearts! It has a nice snuggly hood as well.

Hi
My slippers are getting past it need some new ones for Christmas!
I have used Boiler Juice and found them cheaper and the oil came from the same company we have used before. Unfotunately as I live out in the sticks we do not have gas. We did have solid fuel but that got expensive and was a lot of hassle.
I would not recommed anybody to use npower We changed to them as they were surposed to be cheaper. It was ok until they changed our meter and messed all the readings up. You only get a statement from them every 6 months. I keep an eye on the readings myself but without going into all the deatils they have been a nightmare.

I am well chuffed with boilerjuice. A quote from a regular supplier was £226 but with Boilerjuice it came to £198 including delivery - and from the same supplier!!
Delivery was quick too. Price confirmed Monday and they delivered this morning.

I only get a statement from Atlantic every six months, but it a guaranteed meter reading, rather than an estimate and I quite like that.

Depends really,if we have a good winter it will obviously last longer than if it is a cold hard one as we won't have the heating on as much. The same qty of oil bought in April has lasted to now, to give you some idea.

Sort of, but then you don't use it much during the summer months do you? I expect to be in credit with ours when the next bill comes in shortly.

I presume your electricity is on top of that?

Hi
Was that for 500 litres Angelrainbow? Just looking at my last bill which was boilerjuice and it was for £184 that was at the begining of March before that paid £248 direct from supplier in December. Now due to order some more but that has lasted quite well. We have had the heating on neither of us can stand being cold!

Npower read my meter Jan on more than one occasion and then decided about a year later that these readings were incorrect due to meter change and walloped us with a bill for £1200. We did manage to get this reduced to £800, they had reduced our DD because we were in credit. We are now having to pay that back as soon as we do, we shall be changing. They are rubbish.

Agreed Linda - I call them Numpty Power as they are so useless.

I know British Gas get a bad press, but compared to NPower they are brilliant!

We use it every day in the summer months as it provides our hot water.
Yes of course leccy is on top of that, I'm not living in a self sufficient eco home with wind turbine and solar panels - it is a 200 odd year old cottage!

We have a combi boiler, so only use hot water as and when we need it.

Electric isn't that pricey for me - it's only for lights, tumble dryer (in the winter), washer and dishwasher.

I still would not consider buying anywhere with oil fired heating, especially if we had a winter like the last one and I was running out!

We have a combi boiler as well and it's brilliant - we had electric heating and a hot water tank where we lived before and it was a pain.

We only use gas for heating and hot water as we got rid of the gas oven and hob that was here when we moved in.

And while we're on the subject - wind turbines are hideous things that are unreliable and ruin the landscape, and I would never want to put an ugly solar panel on my house!
