I was supposedly warmer here today as well, but I still had the heating on!

I hope you get the boiler sorted out x

I have the heating on but my bloke is "airing" the place so my hands are going numb as I type! Lol! It feels about minus five to me but he's quite happy in his t-shirt (I blame the Geordie blood - they seem not feel the cold up that way)!

It's very mild and damp here today so I think the heating will be off until this evening.

I thought it was summer here during the night I was so hot! Window open, no heating and a strappy pyjama top and I still kicked the covers off!

It's damp and mild again here, but quite windy.

Hi

It is a shame about the boiler. I would look at the offers such companies as warmfront are offering. You may get a grant for energy efficiency measures to be installed.

Easy option is to go to the direct.gov wesite and search energy efficiency grants.

Good luck

It's usually down to what benefits you get as to the things you can get either FOC or for a reduced pice.

Sorry for the delay in the update!!

Julie - we do still have our boiler care, despite our creditors asking for it to be removed from our I&E for out IVA to be accepted!!

We have been given an inital 3 month payment break from our IP. My dad (my hero) has offered to pay for half of it so i think we should be able to pay him back in 3 months.

Thanks for everyone concern/support
x

Good news, hope it gets sorted...good for you for making sure the boiler cover remains in your proposal. Its essential as far as I'm concerned - we've certainly had our money's worth ( even though the customer service was terrible).

Freezing here tonight!
