Jan - Marley & Me is a wonderful heart warming laugh out load till your crying book. I was addicted when I read it & I normally put books I buy on Ebay - but I wont part with this one!

I will send you my copy to borrow if you want, I dont like sad doggy stories - but this one is not sad - its full of happiness & love x

Thanks for the offer Lyns, but I wouldn't read it. Don't do doggy stories at all, and don't cry at books or films, even though I have three dogs!

I won't watch the film either.

I read the book first n film does not even come close, to the point I felt it did not reflect the true story.

No worries Jan, I find true stories difficult but totally love Marley & Me!
I will cry over anything, Im quite pathetic really!

Each to his own!

I don't cry at films at all, but do admit to crying when my own pets die.

I always have two on the go, one for home and one for breaktimes at work. I can read 3 or 4 in a week, no problem.

I might have a look for Marley and Me.

I went on ebay yesterday and treated myself (if you can call it that) to a waterproof coat for £4.99. I really needed one for Boys Birgade camp in a few weeks. Might see if there are any cheap books today. x

I'm on holiday at the moment and although I've brought 6 books with me I've only read 1 and we're going home tomorrow.

I blame the gorgeous cat who keeps visiting for distracting me - he's fast asleep on my lap at the moment!

My favourite books I can read over and over and still lose myself in them.

I pretty much know which ones I have read before, but if I get it wrong then I'll read them again.

Another author I love is Philippa Gregory - brilliant! Santa Montefiore is good as well.

Modern books that I like are very few and far between.

I always have two on the go, one for home and for breaks at work. I can get through several in a week.

It's Bill Bryson at home at the moment. I love his books and buy them. I've got them all.

A girlie read does not do it for me!

I can't stand girly books - I tried the Shopaholic series and the first one was ok, but I couldn't see the point of the rest as they were pretty similar!

I normally read loads of books on holiday but I only read one and a bit this time as we were so busy. I took loads as well to save buying any more!
