my hubby has been colouring my hair for me since our debt came to light(!) just to save £. started with a temporary colour but found a permanent one(after a few mishaps).

i never enjoyed the hairdresser doing it as my condition means i get twitches/movements. i feel much more comfy with hubby doing it for me. he's v patient,i'm lucky.
Nothing stays the same...everything changes..hang on in there!

Thank god my hair is longer nowadays so don´t have to get it cut that often! When it needs cutting, my girlfriend usually does it.

I always use whichever shade of blonde I fancy at the time,I used to be white blonde until my 20s then starting going a bit darker.
I think if you are dyeing your hair close to your natural shade you cant go far wrong.
Used a lightest blonde one out of poundland a couple of weeks ago and it was brilliant, covered all my dark roots and the greys that are coming through. Worked better than a lot of the more expensive brands out there, they have plenty of shades to choose from so might grab a few more next time I am in there!!!!!!
full and final accepted January 2015

iva agreed; August 2010
iva would have completed; August 2017
extra year thank's to NRAM

My hair has been every colour under the sun, can't afford to now so it's back to it's natural mousey brown. I'm pleased to say though that although I'm no spring chicken, there's hardly any grey there!

My head would be full grey without the help of Sally the hairdressers visits. x

I'm actually surprised at how little grey I have considering my age.

I'm envious Jan - I've got loads of grey, hence the highlights!

I used to love having my hair coloured - can't afford it now so it's a basic cut for me as my hair is so short - I love just being able to wash it and leave it these days!

I've grown my longer for this wedding but unless H does it for me I can't do a thing with it, so once this wedding is over it's coming off!

Today I'm going shopping for a dress and shoes for granddaughter and my accessories assuming I can find some!

I used to have really long, straight hair and again, it was wash it and throw the hair dryer through it and out!

When I was a police officer though it used to have to be off my collar (not that they bother these days) so it was always in a bun when I was at work.

Much prefer it short these days.

I'm growing mine for the wedding. I know it's ages yet but I don't want to be wishing a few weeks before the wedding that it was longer! I've stopped straightening it as well so it's back to looking like a curly mop!

I'm worried I'm turning into one of those 80s heavy metal singers - like the lead singer from Europe or Jon Bon Jovi!

I know there's not, but I don't want to look like him!
