Sorry, michelle - I don't know the answer to that one! But would just like to say that I am from Liverpool, and have, I presume, the same worries as you!! Currently 'trying'to go through an IVA, but BR is still a possibility!!

Ok thanks...I have actually gone BR Emma...it wasn't as painful as I thought...we have to go to Liverpool on Wednesday to meet our OR...i'm not looking forward to that though!

We wanted to do an IVA but as most of our debt was with Northern Rock we were advised against it as they refuse most proposals...so we had no choice but to go BR.

Hope everything works out ok for you whichever way you choose to go!

It goes into the London Gazzete and in your local newspaper. Dont worry its very small and the only people who will see it are those that are looking for it.

I am not too sure, do you have a local evening mail, thats where they appear in my area, out of curiosity I had a look and they dont seem to be in the freebies. However the notices are tucked away, are very small and I could have missed it. I have seen them in the local evening mail that you have to buy, though, for sure.

Mine only went in the local paper that you have to pay for which I was quite pleased about - Dave's mum doesn't get that and she was the one person I didn't want to know about it!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

The bankruptcy notice is usually advertised in your local "official" newspaper.
