Definitely seems to be a difference of opinion as to what caused the death of the SIVAs but regardless they would have been much fairer to the debtor. Given that some creditors are still abusing their positions and the percentage of bankruptcies is increasing the SIVAs should be looked at again. Protocol may have standardised some things and reduced modifications but the SIVAs would be much more beneficial to debtors.
