I applied for one of the free bread cards before christmas and havent received it yet does anyone know how long they take to arrive?[:)]

I've received mine, seemed good when I applied but having looked at the website new purchase charges will be introduced from February, so you pay to load money on to it and you pay 2% on any purcahses you make. So it looks like it's no better than any other pre paid card. In fact could work out more costly than some.

If you load money on the card by standing order it only costs 25p so that's not too bad. I'm going to use mine to do our weekly shopping so even at 2% it won't be too bad. I'm a bit limited as I applied for a Cashplus card and they wouldn't send me one without me sending them a utility bill, which I don't have as everything is in Dave's name.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
