Andy

Are you planning to cross the border anytime soon and come to Wales or is Bristol the nearest you will ever get[;)]. We are not a bad lot really ( Ok so we are not too good at sport).

Andy

I will host the Cardiff meeting if you decide that you want to enter God's Country. Would be nice to have a get together locally, and I think there are a few Welsh forum members who would be interested.

Just want to say that my colleague Jamie and I had a perfectly enjoyable evening in very good company. It was great to meet Soulgrowth, Welshboy, Coveritall (+ Mrs Coveritall) and Andy Davie (who is actually much better looking in person) and the iva.co.uk.TV lady (sorry did not get your name) who is probably one of the most pushiest salespersons I have ever come across (even though she wasn’t actually selling anything, just trying to get us all to do a TV interview [:D] )

Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and for the very interesting conversation.

I am looking forward to the next meeting anywhere near our area

Thanks again

Mike

Glad it went well. I really want to get to one of the meetings but Bristol was a little bit too far! Next time there is one in London (that doesn't start at 4pm!) Dave and I are going to try and get there and meet a few people.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Sorry, here is part two...large Town or City they could visit for one of these evenings. You could then see the venues that would command the most support.

Meantime, I would be happy to host an evening in Gloucester/Cheltenham, or further down the West Country.

Just to confuse, part one has disappeared...

I agreed with mikebdomain, a very nice evening, thanks Andy for organising it, and the TV lady is called Vanessa.

My suggestion is to add a page here that Forum Memberfs can visit and leave the name of a large Town or City they could visit for one of these evenings.

Hi All
Well I've just got back after a lovely four hour drive!!However it really was a great evening and I know that people had travelled a fair way.It was nice to put faces to names.
A real big thank you to Debbie[Soulgrowth],John Tegg and his wife,Mike and Jamie from Leybridge and Tony[Welsh boy].Also to Vanessa from Film 121 for travelling all the way from London to film some interviews.Look out for them on the IVA tv channel.
Admin have already posted a thread for people who may be interested in attending the next frugal friends meeting[do you like the new name?]to post the area that they live in so that I can gauge the interest.
Thanks again to all,it's very much appreciated.

It was a really great evening Andy and great to put faces to 'names' ... people are as nice in the flesh as they are 'virtually'. I can thoroughly recommend going along to the next one in your area folks!

Thanks for your hospitality Andy ... and your hard work and dedication to the cause [:)]
