Hi
My next frugal friends meeting will at the Britannia hotel,Union Passage,Birmingham,B2 4RX.It's very close to the main New St train station[150 yards]
It will start at 7pm and all drinks and snacks will be supplied by IVA.co.uk.
These meetings are becoming more and more popular and are open to all, forum experts, forum members and the general public. They are held in an informal atmosphere in the hotels lounge.
We already have Skippy,Aguise,Soulgrowth,John and Gwen Tegg[Coveritall],and Paul Johns[Reviva] confirmed so it has the makings of a great meeting.
Please feel free to contact me if you want any further info, using the contact Andy link on the homepage.
Myself,or one of the forum members, will be at the hotel to greet you so do not feel worried about attending.Everyone at the meeting has the same common interest and I guarantee that you will enjoy yourself.
Regards
Andam Davies

I hope lots of you will try come, its lovely to have a relaxed chat and meet everyone. I was really nervous, as was Mrs skint , but really enjoyed it. Its nice to meet new people and as Andy says with a common interest. Anybody on their own I am happy to meet at the station if preferable, though you have to wear dark glasses carry a bunch of flowers and a copy of the telegraph. lol.

I think it would have to be an old copy or I may not make the meeting, I could end up in clink for accosting some poor chap on the station.

Mr Skippy (aka Dave!) has asked me to point out that he will also be there - he doesn't want to be left out!

With any luck it'll be a celebration for me as well - 29th March is my BR discharge date!

Hi all ... I'm really looking forward to it ... and great that it's on a Saturday ... well done Andy.

Like Ang says I am only to happy to meet people either at the station or in the foyer of the hotel ... as when I first went to the meeting at The Britannia last year I couldn't find anyone! So, Ang, perhaps if you cover the hotel and I'll cover the foyer!! I am happy for anyone to have my mobile phone number so you have a point of reference anyone and then we can liase ... just drop a line to Andy and he will give you my personal email address.
