I suppose the difference between them being a utilities supplier and the home care insurance is that if you don't pay the home care payment, your cover stops.

This has now all been sorted. I wrote to British Gas and they called and apologised and said they would set everything up as was before.

They said it was a bit of over-zealous administration!

STOP PRESS: the new direct debit they set up was done on my bank account that is part of my IVA! A further call sorted that out, though!
Debt problems, what debt problems? I'm not in De Thames, I'm in De Nile.
