1. I have no assets
2. I have no job
3. I don't have nothing valuable except my laptop and pc.

However I need both of them for work if and when I find work as my profession involves around pc's. Will they take my computers in BR?

What happens if my landlord finds out that I'm BR and kicks me out? Do I have to live in the street? What will happen to my house deposit?

What happens to my girlfriends things? Do we have to write a list what do I own and what belongs to her?

Hi Brokeandpoor and welcome to the forum.

The OR will not be interested in your laptop or PC. You would list them as tools of your trade on your BR forms.

You would need to check your tenancy agreement to find out where you stand if you are made bankrupt. I'm sorry, I know very little about tenancy in BR, but hopefully one of the experts will be able to advise you.

The OR will not be interested in your girlfriend's things. I live with my partner, and his belongings weren't mentioned at all by the OR. They don't come round to see what you have, and you only have to declare anything YOU own of value on the forms.

Have you taken professional advice regarding BR? If you decide that is the way forward for you the judge will ask you this. If you cannot answer yes, your BR petition may be rejected. Please make sure you have spoken to the CAB or CCCS about this.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
