I also sometimes put .99p in the search box just to see whats for sale. They have quite a nice dress on there at the moment. I think if I was smaller I would buy it.

Definitely bargains to be had - I had a lovely pair of nine west sandals, brand new for £3.99!

So good - I didn't even have to put them in the wardrobe and pretend they've been there for months lol

I buy a few things from Ebay, but I'm never sure what size I am. I used to know what size I was in each shop, but not any more. I've got clothes that fit that are size 12 to 16 and shoes that are 6, 6.5 and 7!

Sizing is a problem on Ebay, but as I am a plus size (very much so), I find that I can get clothes to fit me - it's very rare that they don't fit. As the others have said, if they don't fit, I just put them back on.

I've had some great Ann Harvey bargains off there - can't afford to buy the stuff new from there as it is so expensive.

My new wardrobe has been turning up now and everything is as described and I am so happy with everything and amazed at the prices I got them for.

Would recommend that everyone have a little look and see if they can pick up any steals.

This has saved me so much money as I really needed new work clothes - everyones going to wonder why I am all kitted out in new clothes and think I am splashing out!!

Really pleased Emma as long as you didnt get any of those shoes in that email, if so you will need surgery at my work after, awful they were.
I am watching a few things at the mo as they are much cheaper than buying in the shops. Glad they all fit and you are happy with them.
Will email you later when I am at work.

Hi there curious cat.
A lot of the basic accounts still carry a basic debit card with them, usually maestro, electron.
You can also get the pre paid debit cards that you load the money on to first and they can be used as well. The thing you shouldnt have with an account is any form of credit such as an overdraft.
Ask all the questions you want . There is always a lot to understand at the beginning.

If you use Ebay as well, you can have a Paypal account. You can pay money across from your bank (if you have any left!), or when you sell on Ebay money is paid into it.

There are several sites on the net which will accept Paypal as payment.

I sell old stuff on ebay and then leave the money in paypal and use that to buy clothes etc, it's only £10 here £10 there but you can get good bargains and there is usually a buyer for everything. X

And me Viki. I love shopping and selling on there. Hate having to do the original listing as it takes time. It's been good this last week though as only 5p listing and free gallery!

I only ever sell when it's cheap listing.

When I sold the house last year and moved here I was ruthless, I have bags and bags of old clothes, shoes, bags, toys etc all ready to be listed. It does take ages and I tend to put it off but when I get going I can list for hours. Then when I use that money to buy something I need, it feels as though it hasn't cost a penny![:)] X

I've got tons of stuff as well, mostly stuff that doesn't fit me anymore! I put on a few at a time as I do get bored doing the original listings.

The only problem is the postage - I know the money has gone into Paypal, but I still have to find it out of my weekly budget to send it off.

Still, once done, it does give me that bit extra to spend!
