Here we are at the 1st December and its a blooming cold one here. Mr Frost has been out brrrrrrrr.

I'm taking the day off work today, had a migraine yesterday through stress at work. So going to snuggle under the covers for as long as the pets let me [:)]

Hope its not too cold where you all xx

It's frosty here too Julie and I think I'm getting the dreaded 'cold' sinus problems this morning and don't feel good!

Sorry to hear that Lesley, I hope you feel better soon.

It's a beautiful morning here (or it would be if it was 20 degrees warmer!) but I wasn't happy about having to scrape the car!

Lesley, I will have to get you over for a reiki treatment when I get my room a bit more sorted - will do you one for free, if you can ever make it.

I hate scraping the car Skippy.......I'm going to wrap up warm and take Dobby down the beach, hopefully blow away the after effects of a migraine.

Very cold here as well, everyone at work moaning about it being cold in winter.....

I did the old fashioned thing last night of covering my windsreen with newspaper and hey presto very little ice this morning so could just get in and go as usual.

Regards.

Thanks everyone, I've been and bought some Beechams Powders (they seem to work for me). I still feel very throaty and my sinus is giving me jip!

AR I will definitely take you up on that offer and don't forget my offer for your little girls to meet my dog.

Lesley, I find the best thing for me is Nurofen Cold and Flu. Even Dave says they help him, and you know what men are like!

You don't see many windscreens covered with newspapers, but you're right Mike it does work and makes life much easier in the mornings.

It was absolutley freezing down the beach, but it did help with the headache....my cold nose and ears took my mind off the pain in my head [:D]

Hope you're feeling better Lesley. xx

Julie and Lesley, hope you are both feeling better now.

I hate the cold with a passion!

Hope I don't have to do any more scraping in the morning.

I am very fortunate that I don't very often get colds or flu at all, even when all others around me have succumbed!

That said - I'm off for a swine flu jab on Thursday![:D]

Glad you're feeling a bit better Lesley - let's hope the powder and a goodnights sleep (!!!!) help and you are ok in the morning.
