Hi Stewpots! Haven't seen you for ages - how's things?
You should be able to get a credit card pretty quickly after your completion letter comes through. THere are lots of posters at the moment being accepted!

I'm good thanks, I was told the VAT 'stuff' shouldn't hold up my completion letter but given my F&F was accepted just over a month ago a fair while to wait I guess.
I assume if I applied now I would be in breach ?

Until you have your completion letter then you should not apply for any credit at all.

It depends on whether your proposal allows for credit with the IP's permission. If you can get permission, then you could try for a card now.

I wouldn't recommend taking out a credit card under any circumstance untill a completion certificate has arrived, it just isn't worth the chance of having the iva failed after such a long slog, better safe than sorry.
Regards David.
