Hi All,

in 2008 I applied for a IVA. Since then I have failed and paid everything off with the sale of my house. Completed Sept 2010. I now owe no one [:)]

I have just decided to start my own PT business as I have been doing odd jobs but thing have grown.

Just tried to get business insurance with AXA who have refused me because I need two years from end of IVA.

I now have loads of jobs to do but no insurance. Is there any companies that can help?

HAVE MONEY. HAVE WORK. NEED INSURANCE. [:(]

Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark and welcome!

I've asked our group's broker to make some phonecalls for you this afternoon- I'll let you know if he finds anything.
Take care,

One of our posters managed to get business insurance through the AA.

Hi Guys,
I'm posting for the first time and I want to thank everyone who submited experience getting Public Liability Insurance. Have to agree, was not easy, but with the info you provided it's done and dusted. If anyone is strugling to get PLI, try Towergate Insurance. Phone Nr 01883724076(08448921387), ask for Kelly, she was very helpfull and understanding.
Thanks

Mark, 'Cover-it-all' is a forum expert and insurance broker with strong experience of how insolvency can impact insurance quotes. I'm sure he would be able to steer you in the right direction.

Tiger, this is an old thread. I would imagine the op has managed to get himself sorted by now.

Fair enough, didn't know whether you had clocked the original date.
