That's hilarious Endsmeet, Can't stop laughing [:D][:D]

Having worked in the past in a Call Centre though, I wouldn't have been so polite to the Customer, I would have just ended the Call[:D][:D]
Did receive a couple of aggressive one's but not as bad as that[:D]

I spent 10 years of my life working in an IT based call centre, DM,. It ended 4 years ago with a major nervous breakdown and now I find it almost impossible to speak to people on the phone. Especially call centres. Also being partially deaf makes it impossible for me to understand Asian accents, which only helps to exacerbate some situations.. And I hate being apologized to all the time. My wife calls me Victor Meldrew and hides the phone.[:D][:D]

Ray, I'm sorry to hear that.

I have problems dealing with Asian call centres as well, and I'm not partially deaf! (my husband wishes he was when I start ranting!) I hate when they ask if I mind if they call me by my Christian name - well actually yes, I do! I don't know you from Adam and as you are usually going to be nasty to me, then I don't want you being familiar with me.

Loved the appraisal terms Ray.[:D][:D][:D]

Hi Ray, ( Or should we be calling you Victor from now on[:D])

Sorry to hear that,I can understand though,it can be very stressful working in a Call Centre. I last worked for one 8 years ago but it taught me one thing and that was to always be polite to the person at the other end of the phone, even when not in the best of moods for any reason. Shame it doesn't always happen like that though, with some of the Creditors Calls I have received lately.[:(]

I can feel an Indian Call Centre Joke coming, hope it doesn't offend
anyone.[:)]

Mujibar was trying to get a job in India

The Personnel Manager said, "Mujibar, you have passed all the tests,
except one. Unless you pass it you cannot qualify for this job."

Mujibar said, "I am ready."

The manager said, "Make a sentence using the words Yellow, Pink and
Green "

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said, "Mister manager, I am
ready."

The manager said, "Go ahead."

Mujibar said, "The telephone goes green, green, and I pink it up,
and say, 'Yellow, this is Mujibar.'"

Mujibar now works as a technician at a call center for computer
problems.

No doubt you have spoken to him.

I like it!

I used to work in a call centre and it was the worst job I've ever had - when I left my confidence was gone and I was a complete mess. I would never work in call centre again. We had to take 100 calls a day, and if we didn't we had to explain why, and no-one seemed to realise that it wasn't always possible to do it.

I worked in an inbound call centre.... the pressure they put you under not allowed anymore than 10% of your time not taking calls!!! lol!! This call centre had calls recorded.... Was so funny advisers while on hold would sing to the hold music while trying to go thru to other departments! is funny!! remember if your on hold don't do/say anything that you might regret even tho the operater cant hear you but your being recorded!! Ive heard some funny stuff!! A group of people sang to frank sinatra's my way while holding once!!
Life is one big challenge so what are you going to give me today!?
